NT2 teacher:

The International Waldorf School The Hague seeks an enthusiastic and creative teacher for our Dutch as a second language program. Applicants must be (DUO) licensed, have a passion for teaching, and, of course, a love for children. The position is three days a week between 11am to 3pm (12 hours in total) working with small classes (max. 15 per class) of children from around the world. As our new colleague you would join our small team of teachers and administrators, so applicants would ideally work well in an intimate working environment. Ideal candidate would also have experience working in Waldorf (Steiner) schools, and extra points for a professional background in the international community in the Netherlands or abroad.

In the summer of 2018 we opened our school with one Kindergarten class and a Class 1. Over the past two years our school has expanded and we are now looking to start a third Kindergarten class as soon as possible. 

Kindergarten teacher:

We’re also looking for an enthusiastic early childhood educator to join us in the Kindergarten (for children ages 4-6).   

Well-qualified candidates possess: 

-Good knowledge of, and appreciation for, Waldorf early childhood education. The ideal candidate will have teaching experience in Waldorf education; 

-At least a Bachelor degree in Primary Education plus a permanent teaching license to teach at primary level; 

-Full (C2 level) or native fluency in English; 

-A pioneering spirit and positive attitude; 

-Preferably a EU passport. 

Class One Teacher: 

We are looking for an enthusiastic primary school teacher to join us as the new Class One teacher in the new academic year (August 2021).

Well-qualified candidates possess: 

-Good knowledge of, and appreciation for, Waldorf education;

-Waldorf teacher training;

-Experience teaching in a Waldorf school; 

-At least a Bachelor’s degree in Primary Education plus a permanent teaching license to teach at primary level; 

-Full (C2 level) or native fluency in English; 

-A pioneering spirit and positive attitude; 

-Preferably an EU passport. 

-Ideally DUO certified, but if not, we can assist in acquiring.

In these early years of development, we are working closely as a small team to support our new school’s growth.
